Terms and Conditions of Use — Se Adună

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Se Adună mobile app (the “App”), provided by Alexandru Dan, an individual. By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. What the App is

Se Adună is a set of personal tools that help you understand and reflect on your spending, based on data you enter. The main features are:

• calculation of the cost of spending habits (monthly, yearly and over 1/5/10/20 years) and an optional budget module (income, expenses, savings target), with hypothetical mathematical simulations;
• My Receipts: keeping receipt photos and receipt data (automatic text recognition exists only on iPhone);
• Impulse Pause: a reflection tool before a purchase; the decision remains yours;
• Micro-Journal: a quick note of impulses, once a day;
• Real Work: an arithmetic calculation of the value of an hour of your work, based on the data you enter;
• Memory Graveyard: a private collection of things you chose not to buy.

The App is free, with no subscriptions, in-app purchases or ads.

2. Informational nature of the App

All results shown by the App — costs, projections, reduction scenarios, simulations with a hypothetical return, the value of an hour of work, the total in the Memory Graveyard — are mathematical calculations based on arithmetic formulas and the data you enter.

• These calculations are estimates, not guaranteed predictions.
• Simulations with a return are hypothetical scenarios, not promises of gain, and do not reflect the actual return of any financial product.
• The App does not provide financial, tax or investment advice and does not recommend financial products, banks, brokers or investment instruments.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use the App:

• only for personal, lawful purposes;
• without attempting to extract, decompile or modify the App’s code, except where expressly permitted by law;
• without using it in a way that could affect its operation for other users.

4. Your account and data

The App has no account, login or password. The data you enter, including receipt and memory photos, stays stored locally on your device; see the Privacy Policy for full details, including the camera, backups and deletion.

You are solely responsible for:

• the accuracy of the data you enter (prices, income, expenses, receipt data);
• keeping/backing up your data, to the extent you wish to (for example through your phone’s backup mechanisms);
• the financial decisions you make using the information in the App.

The "Product recognition" mode in Shopping Impuls includes ARCore functionality, provided by Google. Use of ARCore is subject to the Google Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The name “Se Adună”, the App icon, texts, interface design and the App’s code are the property of Alexandru Dan or are used under the appropriate licenses, as applicable.

You may not copy, redistribute or commercially use elements of the App without the operator’s written consent, except as expressly permitted by law (for example, personal use, a screenshot for your own use).

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• the App is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties regarding perfect accuracy, uninterrupted availability or the absence of any errors;
• the operator is not liable for financial, personal or other decisions you make based on the results shown by the App;
• the operator is not liable for indirect losses that may result from using or being unable to use the App.

This limitation is not intended to exclude liability in cases where the law does not allow such an exclusion.

7. Changes to the App and the Terms

The operator may update the App (features, design, bug fixes) and may update these Terms. The updated version will be published at the same address with a new update date. Continuing to use the App after an update means accepting the new version.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The operator may discontinue the App’s availability in app stores, with or without prior notice, without any further obligation to users, given that the App is free and involves no active subscription.

9. Applicable law

These Terms apply to the extent permitted by the law applicable to you. The App may be downloaded from other countries; mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected by these Terms.
